judy and i are taking our son on a field trip to dalonga, ga. saturday.
we'll visit the place of the us mint site during the north georgia gold
rush. lasted until civil war. of course the us mint  could not run in
conferate territory. the confederates never used it that is recorded.
  we'll vist a gold mind and pan for gold.,   benjamin is really looking
forward to it.
