Yes, the soft bracing does help as long as its followed by gentle Range of
motion exercises and also by activities that get the children to reach and
grab on their own to exercise the extensors.

My Justin Has a simular brace it holds his thumb out and keeps his hand
open.
it seems to work for alittle while after I take it off of him but sooner or
later it tightens up again thats what  I was asking if anyone else knows if
it is worth it or if it works to use a brace  I guess I was just looking for
some reasurance
