Hi Magan,

Sorry to be so late in getting back to you.

I went to a regular school from Kindergarten though college.  I strongly
believe in it for academic and socially reasons.  I don't think I would
have gotten as good an education in a "special" school.  In our daily
lives, we have to deal with the non-disabled world.  So, it is better to
start young and learn how deal with them.  I'm not saying in wasn't hard
for me.

From Junior High (7th grade) on I went to my IEP meetings.  This was
empowering.  It also gave me people I could turn to if problems arose.  I
got a chance to meet my teachers beforehand and find out their concerns.
