I don't have enough personal experience yet to tell you (I just got some P3s
in my lab). Initial feel, however, does not show any noticeable improvement
with the software I am using (MS Office and AutoCAD 2000). However, some
ZDNET lab tests that I read show that a P3 can actually run slower than a P2
with current software (and Win98 is not likely to take advantage of the P3).
In my view, this upgrade would likely be a waste of money.

What is the performance difference between the PII and the PIII
processors - who's going to experience a noticeable difference when
upgrading?
