hello i installed windows 98 on a make shift computer (different pieces
and parts. It is a
486DX2-66mhz 64 mb ram 1.2 g hard drive. The problem that i am having is
that when I install
windows it works just fine durring the whole installation processes. But
when it is finishing up
loading all the drivers and in the final reset when it loads back up it
is all slow and
nonresponsive until i disable one of the hard disk controlers and
restart the compuuter. then it
works just fine except the cd-rom does not work. HELP i have been
working on it for a long time.
Under the hard disk controller of the device manager there are two
standard hard disk controllers
most computer i have looked at have a primary and secondary??
