That is not true.  I've installed multiple NICs for clients needing to
access 2 different WANs from different hosts.  With Plug and Play most of
the time it works fine.  The only complication is if both cards are the
same it is difficult to tell which settings you are changing.  I would
highly recommend using cards not EXACTLY the same...
