Could anyone tell me what to look for when I notice a
significant slowdown in CPU speed?
My 300-MHz computer had been processing data (same type
data being processed 24 hours per day) at a rate of 5.1 KB
per hour, but suddenly it slowed down to 3.9 KB per hour!
The CPU-mounted fan is working. I removed one side
panel on the case for extra cooling but noticed no change in
speed. Any ideas?
