Special Education, in and of it self, is neither good nor bad. I made a lot
of money extolling the virtues of "mainstreaming" in the '80's. It boils
down to the people involved. Regular classes can benefit kids with
disabilities OR they can be a nightmarish experience. It depends on the
people involved. An administrative arangement, i.e., mainstreamed or
special class, is niether good nor bad.
