Hello -

We are members of Aetna US Healthcare, and must follow their 'formulary' for
prescription drugs.

Generics are $5, formulary are $10, and NON FORMULARY ARE $25.

Since we CANNOT be certain of generics ingredients, we are basically forced
to choose formulary or non.

My question:

We would willingly take generics if they could GUARANTEE that they are gluten
free, because we are diagnosed Celiacs (myself and daughter 7, son 11).

Since they cannot, we often must choose non-formulary at $25 - has anyone had
success in obtaining their Rx's at the LOWER cost due to our disease?
How would one go about requesting an exemption to the 'policy', or are we
basically stuck in the 'insurance trap'?

Thanks - I will summarize - I would have to imagine we're not the only ones
in this boat.

Sandi
