Many thanks to the approximately 50 people who responded to my question
about a "mild" case diagnosis. Overwhelming (all but 5) of you said
there is no such thing, that I am lucky to have been diagnosed before I
suffered greatly, that one can't be a "little pregnant", that I need a
new doctor and/or I need to educate my doctor because I will get sicker
over time if I don't cut out gluten completely.

One person said her doctor said she could have cake on her birthday. A
few more were as uncertain as I am and were eager to have your
responses.

I am very grateful to you all.
