Dear Listmates,

I have just purchased my first cakes from Mr. Ritt's Bakery. I have no
idea where to start in telling you that this is a first rate, first
class bakery. They are not only beautifully prepared (it was a shame to
cut them) but they are simply so delicious that they defy an adequate
description. Paul and his co-worker do an unbelievable job. I can
honestly say - and my non-celiac husband agrees - that you would never
know these cakes do not contain any gluten. If, for any reason, you are
delaying placing an order or traveling to Philadelphia, please hesitate
no longer. For the list member who needs a wedding cake, I would highly
recommend Mr. Ritt's. The cakes are not overly sweet which allows all
of the flavors of the ingredients to be enjoyed. The buttercream icing
on the carrot cake is perfection. BTW, the 8 inch cakes can be cut to
serve up to twelve and still the slices are a decent size. If the cost
bothers any of you, please take into consideration that you would have
to invest a lot more into the ingredients if you bought them solely to
make one cake and then you must consider your time. I would never make
any of these cakes for myself just because of the work involved.
Believe me, you will not be disappointed with any of their products.

I have no financial interest in this bakery. I would like their
gluten-free bakery to succeed and flourish. Hopefully, in this way,
more vendors and food producers will consider the celiac market a
profitable one.
