Good Morning!

Enjoy the site and have gotten lots of great info, but now I need a question answered. If this has been addressed, I apologize, and since it is so elementary, I hesitate to post it, but here goes . . .

My mother wants to start out with a good, solid computer system, but doesn't want to/can't spend ''pentium money''. She just needs the basics, but would like to be able to make Cds . High tech games and graphics are not a real concern, but internet photo sharing is a must. She is leaning toward the AMD-K6II but was also considering the Celeron and I would like to have some definitive answers for her -- which is best/most bullet-proof for her applications and age {80), etc.

Had also read somewhere that support for the AMD-K6II might not be easy to get and wondered if anyone else had heard this. I understand that this is not your ordinary calibre question, but any help/info you have will be sincerely appreciated. Thanks, all.

Di Dailey
