Hi All,

InstantBooks is a subscription-based service from the folks at ZDNet. More
than 200 popular computer books on topics from office software, to computer
programming are available as very screen readable HTML pages. The service,
which costs $9.95 a month or $99 a year, can be found at
<http://www.instantbooks.com>. InstantBooks offers a 30-day full access
trial subscription for $1.

The InstantBooks web pages have a few accessibility problems. However,
most seem to be of the type where links are duplicated and some of the
duplicates do not have alt text. For example, when browsing through the
categories of books available, an untagged link talking about book shelf
will be followed by a text name of the category. Both links expand that
category to reveal titles.

There's another option that allows you to purchase electronic books and
download them to your computer. I have not yet explored this option or the
reader software necessary to access the books in this fashion.

Kelly
