A co-worker who tried out the NuVision at a recent conference in Las Vegas
was really impressed with the small size, the quality of the image, and the
speed of focus of this "personal CCTV".

He gave me a brochure with the following information:
www.keelerusa.com
800-523-5620
610-353-4350
Keeler Instruments
456 Parkway
Broomall PA 19008

The NuVision costs about $4500. Here is more info from the brochure:

"As you are aware, magnification and image enhancement can often help
patients with sight problems. NuVision offers a personal display using
small LCD screens positioned directly in front of your patient's eyes, just
like eyeglasses, so they achieve the best result. They are also able to use
their peripheral vision for orientation. NuVision uses a unique optical
system to enlarge images up to 5x at optical infinity and 10x for reading,
with image enhancement that you can tailor to each patient's needs.
"NuVision uses a unique focusing system so patients can keep their head
at a comfortable angle, and their work at a comfortable distance, whatever
the task. No more holding things at awkward angles or only an inch or so
from the face. By simply rotating a single control your patients can
maintain a comfortable head and eye position while viewing anything from
infinity to 5 inches away. Comfort of course is not only position, but also
weight, and at around 6 ounces NuVision is the lightes system of its kind."
