MANAGING DIRECTOR


The Independent Living Resource Centre (ILRC) of Winnipeg,
founded in 1984 as one of the charter members of the Canadian
Association of Independent Living Centres, is inviting applicants
for the position of Managing Director.  The ILRC is a consumer
controlled, cross-disability, community based, non-profit
organization. The purpose of the ILRC is to enable citizens with
disabilities to develop and manage their personal and community
resources.

The Managing Director is the chief executive staff person
responsible to the Board of Directors.  The individual is
responsible for the over-all supervision of the Centre.  The
individual must have knowledge in the areas of programming,
budget development, fund raising, proposal writing, personnel
management and public relations.

Salary range $45,000 - $55,000

Qualified individuals with disabilities should apply.
