How can I my test my microphone to see if its working
properly... trying to do voice
over the internet.. but no one can hear me.

Well David try this to make sure that your mic is
selected to record.

Right click your volume controls at the bottom right
corner of your screen. Open volume controls. Click the
options tab. Then go into properties. Click in
Recording, and there make sure that you microphone is
selected.
Secondly while in your volume controls make sure that
nothing that is needed is on mute mode.
Thirdly be sure that your mic is plugged into the
right input. If the out puts are not labeled switch
your mic into the three different inputs.

Then try your web conversations again.

Good Luck, Francisco
