Benjamin,

A serial port connector is an industry standard configuration, BUT.... the
motherboard end of the cable is not standard.  Each MoBo maker makes a cable
that is unique to their particular board.
You MUST use the cable assembly that came with the motherboard.  I suspect
that you are trying to use the cable that was originally connected to the
Zeos motherboard.
