Hi David

Check that you don't have a key stuck in the pressed position.
(If you try to boot with something like a book pressing down
on any key, you get the beeps.)

So check each key by pressing a few times. Maybe a key got
stuck and you can loosen it. Also, try another keyboard.
If the keyboard is the problem, it's cheaper (and much easier)
to get a new keyboard than to get a new motherboard.
