Thanks Eric;

I've tried several times to replace the bios logo with this utility,
with the recovery jumper on and off,with no joy.
I have had success with other intel OEM boards (AN430), just flashing
with
the latest Intel bios with the recovery jumper removed, but not this
one.
It appears to flash, but the friendly Micron logo still
greets me at boot up. There must be something in the boot block
preventing the change.
 I might try using uniflash with the "/expert" switch
http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/pvanleeuwen/ufhome.htm
 to flash the boot block too, if I get brave enough :-)
  Anyone have experience with this ?
Or suggestions what I'm doing wrong?
