Re John Mascaro's recommendation, "blow-in chopped fiberglass"

Any concern for the insulation holding moisture against the
sheathing?  I guess that incidence is minor compared to vapor
migration which the barrier should stop.

Did you drill into the stud space from the outside or from the inside?
