hello its marvin here again.
i am still looking for a good speech friendly version of pascal for windows.
i have tried the version on freepascal.org but have been dissopinted as it
has several shortcomings.
1 you have to save when using control f 9 and it does not tell the output
automatically. it goes into a dos windows and does not tell what the error
is and it just says the version number and the name of the programmer and
just either fatal error or sintax collumn so and so.
then you have to execute using f 9 and use the jaws cursur to read the
output. when i tried a little program of outputting my name to the screen it
still had the user prompts instead of dissapearring and it had my first and
last name but still the prompts.
it saves it with a pa instead of a pas file name.
if you know of any really good jaws friendly versions of windows pascal and
i do not want a dos version of jaws or a dos version of turbo pascal 7
because it does not work with jaws 32.
my professor says i cannot use the jaws for dos and the dos version of turbo
pascal and use a keynote gold external card. he says he will sit down with
me and work out any problems with the compiler so he says i have to go with
one of the windows compilers he has found.
please e-mail me urgently via [log in to unmask] if you have any
suggestions, links or also send zipped compillers if you think they are
really good and work well with your experience.
i appreciate having a lot of good feedbac and experience in this area.
cheers marvin.
