Last friday night's house fire, in the small town of Mount Vernon, NY
displaced six Gambian families without homes and valuables. Gambians and
Senegalese groups around the metro New York area, hereby launches an
emergency appeal for financial donations for the affected families,solely to
assist them recuperate some of their losses. Once in a while, GOD puts us
through such trials and tribulations and this was one of HIS test to this
families. Our aim for this appeal, is not charity or otherwise, but to show
them that, we care and that this kind of incident, could happen to any of us.
