Hello:

Does any body have any ideas about the origin of the term "Dutchman"
for stone repair?

Also, where would one find information about the number of stone
carvers, stone cutters, stone masons working in NYC in the late 19th
century?

Signed,

Lurking and Ashamed of the Fact,

Nick Micros
