Peter Caron, the log guy own helped me teach the APT workshop on wood last
fall is looking for copper nails:

"Do you know of a source of small ( under 1 inch) 16 gauge, copper or brass
nails that I might try to contact? The box that I have in stock is from a
company named Hassell, Westbury, Long Island?, I don't even know if they
still exist. "
