Derek,

Not getting your PA Update?  Word about Fitch came out to alumni this
morning.  (Placzek passed away weekend of March 18/19.)  There will be a
ceremony in memory of Plazcek on Monday, April 17, 5:00 PM at Avery Library.
No plans yet for a memorial to Fitch, but expect more on that soon.  Both
are fondly remembered from my days at CU.  Times like this remind me that we
are not just preserving history -- we're living it.
