WOW! over 50 people responded, some just looking for an
answer also.

I am 34 years old and have been GF for 13 months.

I have a friend that has healed herself of Asthma and I
do believe she knows what she's talking about. She
recommends a book called "Prescription for
Nutritional Healing" by Phyllis and James F. Balch, M.D.
and can be found at bookstores and health food stores
in the US. There are TWO pages on Celiac Disease (279 & 280)
Worth reading and I started to follow the "essential
nutrients" - ya never know - At this point, I'll try
anything.

My doctor is suggesting - Saccharomyces Boulardii which
is 1 billion live organisms per capsule.
You can go onto the Internet and ASK JEEVES which is
www.ask.com - then type in Saccharomyces Boulardii and
you will find detailed information on this capsule.

It is also used to help Lyme Disease. Saccharomyces Boulardii
is a subspecies of S. cerevisiae. S. Boulardii is a live, friendly
yeast and produces lactic acid in the human intestines.

Probiotics are also intimately tied into how our immune system
works. They manufacture the b-virtamins, help us digest our food,
reduce cholesterol and keep hormones in balance. If you take an
antibiotic and kill them off, it will seriously compromise your
health.

These "bad" bacteria are mostly a fungal yeast called Candida
albicans. An overgrowth of yeast in the intestines can cause
fatigue, bloating, gas, diarrhea, constipation, skin problems, and a
long list of secondary symptoms such as headaches, mental fogginess,
achy joints and pollen allergies. Sound familiar?

The brand of Jarrow Formulas is Free of dairy, soy, wheat, egg and
corn. Twin Labs and Schiff also produce a pill that I haven't looked
into.

All of the above information was sent to me by my doctor.

Other recommendations were:

- Have a blood test done for food allergies at

   www.betterhealthusa.com (1-800-684-2231)

- Cod Liver Oil Capsules

- Ginkgo Biloba

- Possibly low iron

- Adjust diet even further

- B-12 shots

- Get Thyroid tested

- Adrenal Failure?

- Hormones (if you're around that age)

- Leaky Gut or too much acid in stomach or both

- It will get better, the longer you're on the diet

- Focus on Fruits, veggies and nuts

- Make lists

- May have to do with Seratonin levels -
- Ritalin or Adderall (really helped, but doesn't recommend
   going on drugs).

Thank you all who responded. I got some really good laughs
from the majority of you - We may have lost our ability to
concentrate/remember, but we haven't lost our sense of Humor!!

Happy Holidays -
Good Luck and God Bless to you all
