Hi,
You have what I would call a hybrid between a Celeron
and the real PIII. But...before you panic it is a legitimate
PIII *500E* using the 370 pin socket. Unlike the Celeron it has
256k full speed cache instead of 128k. And Unlike the "real"
PIII 500 which has 512k cache at half the processor speed. There
are several other advantages which also look good on paper. When
you power up your system you should see it as a 500E and the 810E
based motherboard number at the bottom.

At least it's not the 5-8-C AMD K6-2/500 which is really a 6-8-C
in sheep's wool. For those of you trying to install Win98SE on a
system utilizing this cpu...probally experienced never ending blue
screen errors during setup followed by windows prot. error. Microsoft
claims this is a "rare" problem between said chip and DBCS versions of
Win98SE.
