No.  Prior to getting your earlier post, one of my manuals info had indicate
the following and I had assumed that those speeds were computer-to-modem
speeds (AKA DTE speeds or port speeds) that you set in your software. This
info only reflected my modem-to-modem speed (AKA connect speed or DCE
speed). Your <-DTE Speed->  Your <-DCE Speed->  Remote Computer Modem to
Modem.  It was time to wake up after digesting that <lol> :-)
