In ancient times, I understand, they stored water in silver containers to
retard bacterial growth (although, they didn't know about bacteria, just
that the water stayed gooder, longer). Cowboys would throw a silver dollar
in their canteens for the same purpose. It is just silver and water, the
electro-colloidal process just makes it work better.
