From a pure "paleo" perspective, I suspect it is not, since it is
an oil extract.

However, as a valuable addition to the diet, I believe it is --
especially as a supplemental "antidote" to the modern diet.

Just as vitamins are valuable in modern society, given the actual
state of the food supply, so is an Omega-3 supplement like flax
oil. I happen to be a big fan of Udo's Choice, although I haven't
used it in a long time. Has almost a "buttery" flavor. Very nice,
indeed.
