I was at an electronic supply store yesterday and saw something interesting
in their <bargain bin> for 25 bucks.
Computer midtower cases that appeared like a very well made.....heavy
steel....mid tower AT case with a floppy drive. I was told that they were
Compaq propriety computers with proprietary cases that were ready to go or
build up with Compaq parts only. I was told they don't take standard parts.
They knew nothing else about them.

Closer inspection ..peaking through the cracks ....reveled what appeared to
be a circuit board on the narrow bottom of the case with two very long
empty slots that I didn't recognize. Anybody have an idea what these
are.....I was thinking disk less workstations but they seem big for that
and the case is really substantial and heavy duty...like something you
would see in a server. Any ideas ??
