Hi. I was biopsied and told I have celiac disease two weeks ago. I have
been bombarded with info that I'm trying to keep straight. On my list to
stay away from is "caramel color". It happens to be in a lot of things. Is
this correct? Does any one know what is in the caramel color that I can't
have?
Also does anyone know of a good nutritionist in NJ. My doctor sent me to one
that sees 3 celiacs a year and she just read me some photocopies. She was
impressed with the info I had off the net. I am 40 yrs old and complained
about being tired to my doctor, that is how all this got started. I'm
finding it tough. With lots of snacks around(I have 3 kids) every thing has
to be read, I have to stop before I pop a snack in my mouth. I'm told it
gets easier.
Thanks a lot, Ria
