My daughter wears cotton kneesox year round under hers-- We go to a school
uniform store when knee sox are hard to come by.     As to sneakers-- Where
are you located? Around us in Ct BOBS carries NB & I just bough a pair-no
shortage--or try LL Bean- They carry wides also.     Joy
