It has been my understanding and personal experience that anything NT4 will
run Windows 2000 will run. There may be a few legacy 16 bit programs that
won't run correctly  but the vast majority of applications that run in NT4
will run in Windows 2000. However there may be a problem in finding drivers
for legacy or non high end devices like scanners.

The up coming  Millennium release is a home or small office program that
has little if any security  where as Windows 2000 provides lock down
security at the file level. Trying to compare the Millennium to 2000 is a
bit like comparing Linux to Win98.
