A great place for finding out of print books is Alibris, who have a service that
allows you to order online from a list which is the pooled stock of many used
bookstores. And, you can get a couple of coupons for $10 and $15 off purchases
there by going to:

http://www.amazing-bargains.com/alibris.html

(and be sure to check around that bargain site for other coupons good at other
online stores.)

Another possibility is an obscure web site called:

www.ebay.com

Sometimes, the book you are looking for is amongst those that someone else
decided they would never read again. You thereby avoid the used bookstore
middleman, and if no one else is looking for that book this week, you can get it
for the minimum bid.

If all else fails, try:

www.outofprint.com

which is just a form that you fill out and a guy looks for the book (and he
found two for me so far).
