Hi Maddy
Sorry it took me so long to respond to your very good question. I've been
looking through my sources and trying to think how to answer your question,
and had pretty much come to the conclusion that most of what I've been
influenced by would not pass muster with the medical ruling elite today.
Tonight I read a good post by Michael Audette [vitamin C and clogged
arteries] which pretty much says it all as to why there is not more
irrefutable scientific research to back up Paleo and/or low carb diet. If I
find any great studies, I'll certainly let you know.
Can anybone else out there in Paleo-land help us on this? ;-)

Personally I couldn't agree more, but what I would love to see is some
documentation on this. Is there an acutal study with some statistical
evidence, that I can hold up to the "naysayers" so they don't say, "How do
you know that for a fact?"
