Cheers to your pediatrician! Most are too willing to resort to antibiotiics as
the first treatment. I am sure you are aware of the problems that attitude has
created.

Have you tried colloidal silver in you son's ear? We have had pretty good results
with CS and ear infections. In addition, many such problems have been helped
through chiropractic adjustment. The top 2 cervical vertebra can be involved in
many cases of chronic childhood ear infections

A major cause of childhood ear infections (Otitis Media) is restricted lymphatic
drainage from the middle ear. When the canal is unable to drain, it produces a
dark, moist environment suitable to bacteria. Although bacteria are a vital part
of the body's immune system, and under normal conditions they exist in a natural
balance, or a natural "flora," disruption of the normal lymphatic activity could
be responsible for a reduction in the body's defense mechanism and an overgrowth
of bacteria, upsetting the delicate balance. Scientific studies of patients with
Otitis Media reveal that spasm of the muscles around the ear, in particular the
Sternocleidomastoid muscle (SCM) and the Tensor Pallati, create this inability of
the ear to drain.

A misalignment of a spinal bone (vertebra) can cause compression of a
nerve and in turn does not allow the nerve to send its proper messages to the
muscle, organ or tissue of the body that it is responsible for, in this case the
muscles that allow drainage. A subluxation can occur from the birth process
itself or the daily bumps and jolts of childhood. Detection of the misalignment
and area of irritation involves a brief, non-invasive chiropractic examination.
Correction includes a short series of safe, gentle chiropractic adjustments. This
will restore proper physiology of the drainage system of the ear and also help to
improve the function of the immune system by removing interference to the nervous
system.

I don't intend for this to be a commercial for chiropractic, but, I had many kids
over the years who have been able to break the antibiotic cycle with a
combination of chiropractic, homeopathy and proper diet.

Good Luck,

Dr. Kim
