This may be of benefit to all those who are waiting for the right time to
send in their contributions. Won't you do so now? And, when sending your
contribution, please send it via snail/express mail. It is much cheaper
than the direct funds transfer route and much more less expensive than
Western Union.
There is a $10 Direct Wire Fee that this bank, Chevy Chase Bank, charges for
all wire transfers. I knew this to be the case with overseas funds
transfers. This is what happened in Yai Fatou's case where the $10 Direct
Wire Fee was deducted from the Incoming Wire Amount as stated in the bank's
notice. Hope this clears things a bit.
Thanks -
Soffie

Ms Gai,
Unfortunately I mistakenly deleted you email
without getting you
address and hence this route via the L . I hope you don't
mind. I was told
the $10 was deducted to cover some transaction fee the bank
charges for wire
transfers. I will ask Soffie for the exact charge and
forward you the
information.
Thanks
Karamba
