I reread it yesterday and got the answer that i missed in the past .He was
testing the potency of the adrenal extract he was making . So the cats were
nesserally supplemented with that extract after the ablation of  the
adrenals .

That confirm my experience and show than cooked foods are at least a big
burden on the adrenal glands asking for more secretions .Without
functionning  adrenal cortex  I might not  thrive on raw food ( like the
cats have been said to ) but i sure get devastated by cooked foods . It
makes m think that i should tr adrenal extract instead of the synthetic
hormone. I allways got resistant to the idea because the way cattles are
raised and burdenned before slaughter.Pottenger 's cats were more lucky at
the time .
