I was at the local butcher picking up the processed (cut up) wild pork and
then asked him if he knew of any grass fed beef. He said, Oh, I just got
done cutting one up.... and he said... Here's the phone no of a local
farmer and you could get a half next time they butcher.
So, try going to a butcher that processes wild game, etc and you may find
out that he is processing (cutting up) the beef for local farmers. Now, I
finally have a source. But, I do have to wait a couple months until they
butcher again. I called the farmer and his wife told me they just butchered.
Then she turned me on to her cousin next door who raises goats.
I have never tried goat for Larry but am willing to give that one a go.
So check out your local butcher, ask around, the grass fed meat is out there.
