Denise S.,

First of all welcome to the list. I also wear a brace on my right
hand/arm to keep my fingers straight it works great for me. It's just
that I get spasms when I wear it, but if I elevate my arm I'm fine. My
hand stays open about 8-12 hours after taking the brace off before
tightening back up again. I wear my brace as often as possible and I also
try sleeping in it at night as well. My advice is to just keep the brace
on as much as possible.
