It's legal to carry a handgun in Arizona.....and if you have a permit, which
involves a lenghty course  and background check, one can obtain a permit for
a concealed handgun. If I have a gun in my car and it's visible (like you can
see the hostler from under the seat, that's legal...but if I wanted to carry
one in my purse I'd need the concealed permit.
