Dear G-List Members

"Ah Troway Salut For All"

(Very popular mode of salutation in Nigeria meaning I am sending my
salutations/greetings
to you. If you accept, you say in reply "Ah catch amm well well for ground"
(meaning salutation/
greetings accepted if not - you always have an option) you day "ah don't
catch amm' meaning the
reverse to the former.

Never mind, catch amm and no catch amm. Oussou Njie Senor EX Super Eagles
is sending his greetings/
salutations to all and sundry - case finish.

Few moons ago, I got hooked (subscribed ) to this very popular forum Gambia
L (Grand place/vous) every
night, that is if NAWEC is around (electricity available) I will sit beside
this letter wonder, just as we here
and some of you there used to do the 60 and before. Tom Ola Coker,
Professor Nyang, Sidi Jammeh,
Ghanim Diab Sidi Sanneh, Prince Coker and many of you there and here, would
sit around from early evening
after school or work till late in the night or in the wee hours of the
morning exchanging ideas.

I better stop here for the time being, reason is that if you talk about
things you know or are/were part
of you can go on forever. As we say in Wollof "Su Yoon Jeehut doohfa do
jaffeh " meaning literally
working on a straight path is easy. Belief me I have a lot to share with
G-Lers. Faateleku with my
Koto's (elders) will name only two Ghanim Diab, Ola Coker, my sisters (will
name only one) Jabou Joh
Waa halfdie like me my ndoos (junior brothers) Sidi Sanneh and Prince Coker
of Fiesta Vous Fame.
Remember Fiesta Vous? The song goes like this (only two lines for the time
being) Halleyi Fiesta Vous,
Prince Coker, Yusu Samba... Will tell you more about many other things.
Will talk to you later.

Have to go now.

Senor
