>As to needing color samples
yesterday or in two weeks... in what part of the country do you get two
weeks?

][<en<

When told it will take 2 weeks:
Midwesterners sigh with great pain and disappointment, but are too
polite to throw tantrums.
New Englanders repeat "2 weeks???" as if they must surely have
heard wrong or we must be crazy
Westerners tell us to send it by UPS Next Day Air, as if that will
turn 2 weeks into 3 days, so they have to be told it's 2 weeks PLUS
shipping time
New Yorkers say "2 weeks? OK, I'll pick it up tomorrow".
But in the South, where they are apt to tell us all about the
weather in February, and to point out to us that they don't have a "down
season" for exterior work, there is no rush to get things done
before it snows and 2 weeks will be "just fahn".
Of course the guys in the biggest rush still have the FEDEX early AM
Saturday morning delivery sitting on their desks a month later, box
unopened, because something else they didn't think about until it was too
late has become a bigger crisis.

The guys who don't want to wait 2 weeks for a color match will spend months
fighting with the owner about using the wrong color, and then will have to
redo it with the right color anyway.
