I too would look at NEC. At my college, I have about 350+ in use every day
for 16 hours seven days a week in public labs. They typically have a three
year warranty, and over the last three years, I've only had three failures.
Not a bad stretch (knock on wood). I personally have a 17" NEC at home and
love its clarity and image.
As far as Viewsonic, I have not been too impressed with them. No specifics
to offer, just haven't liked the ones I've seen.
Regards,
Dan
I'm planning to get a new monitor, probably 17".
(Certainly no more than one step in size up or
down from there.)
I'd like to get a good quality monitor, but it's not for
any special purpose (e.g., hardcore cad, true-color
graphics).
In the past, I've had good luck with viewsonic --- are
they still a good choice? Other suggestions for what
I should be looking at?
I'm not looking to get the rock-bottom cheapest, but
I do want to get value for the money I spend.
Thanks for any ideas.
