Yes, this is where my hard drive is: top to bottom of tower: hard
drive|CD-RW|CD-R|3.5 floppy.
There seem to be no cooling fans in these bays, nor much "cooling space"
between drives. Since you and Bob W. imply that concern is appropriate, are
there changes that I should make other than taking the case off?

I have a Gateway Select 475 and the top of it gets pretty warm, upon =
taking=20
the cover off for a closer look I discovered that was where the =
harddrive=20
was located. The only fan on this computer is the power supply fan. =
Don't=20
know if this helps or not but take a closer look at the top of the =
drives to=20
see if that is where your harddrive
