Just to check, do you have any cards in the slot next to the G400 that is
presumably in the AGP slot? When I built the system I use now, I had put
the Promises Ultra ATA 66 card in the slot right below my G400 in it's AGP
slot, and it would cause my system to lock up, and I found out that the top
PCI slot and the AGP slot by default share an IRQ.
