10/100 NIC will do the job. For performance/price, you can go for Intel chip
base NIC. 3com is a bit more expensive, but the quality worth its price.

UTP Cat5 cable is able to handle 100mbps, fast enough for your network. You'll
need a hub too.

Yes, you can use software such like WinGate to share Internet connection.

You just need to add a same network protocol on each computer, and make sure
"File and Print sharing" is enabled (otherwise they can't share with each
other). Remember, you will have to give each computer a unique name. there is
