I heard something about memory leakage with win98 running for long periods
of time. Care to comment?

    The power draw from an inactive pc is negligible, meaning your
electricity bill won't suffer, and the pc doesn't have to through several
warm ups and cool downs during the day, meaning less stress of expansion /
contraction and wear and tear, so it's normally advisable to leave a
fequently used pc running. If you're going out of town, turn it off,
otherwise, the 2 machines in this house are left on 24 / 7.
