Anecdotally, I'm one of those. I used never to want breakfast, and got
through the day on fruit and juice. I had palpitations and faintness in the
afternoon and evening and thought I was seriously ill. No doctor even
addressed the diet until my recently acquired chiropractor/nutritionist.
She just said, "Eat protein in the morning!" Instant results, even with
just a couple of spoonfuls of yogurt. Now I look forward to my three-egg
breakfasts, with meat or fish, more than any dinner. In fact, I find myself
preparing way more than I want to eat for dinner, out of habit. Of course,
the leftovers make great lunches:) I get along on a lot less volume of food
and am never hungry, but I've also gotten rid of all "guilt" about eating
as much as I want, especially of fatty foods. Weight loss was never a goal,
but it came along with.
